Mariposa Poker Tournament is a multi-game, Texas Holden tournament where player collect points based on play throughout the season. Players collect points based on the number of players and the buyin amount of each game. Each player can also collect points based the number of knockouts and their final place but can lose points based on number of rebuys and addons. The following formula is used to calculate points:

The season will consist of 8 regular tournaments and will end with the final Invitational tournament. The season point leaders will be invited to the Invitational tournament and will receive a chip bonus based on the point standings:
1st: 5,000
2nd: 4,000
3rd: 3,000
4th: 1,000
5th: 500
6th: 300
Knockout Leader: 2,000
A 10% rake from each game's pot is carried into the Invitational tournament. All records are made available to season players.
